Leave it to the city of Milwaukee to spread some holiday cheer! This year was their 103rd Annual City Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and it was the best yet! Mayor Tom Barrett made an appearance along with Santa and his reindeer! It was a great night with plenty of gingerbread cookies, hot beverages courtesy of Colectivo or the nearby Red Arrow Starbucks and gorgeous lights and trimmings atop the city’s tree designed by our friend, David Caruso!
However, Santa tested a new way of transit he may consider adopting in the future – the Hop! The mayor and Santa Claus took a ride on the streetcar, made some new friends and spread some Christmas magic all along the way!
We can’t wait to see what surprises are in store for next year!
