A big part of business is how you come across to your audience. How your target audience perceives your company can affect and negatively affect the business. Rebecca from ACTS Housing noticed a disconnect between how the image her business cards and teams’ headshots appeared and how they actually were. Instead of being shown as the friendly, warm and light-hearted bunch they are, their previous headshots were dull, a bit dark and a little sad.
So she set out to find a solution to ACTS Housing’s problem. We chatted with her to get a feel for her business, the brand and how they wanted to achieve their goal and settled highlighting a Milwaukee classic – cream city brick.
Cream city brick not only establishes local pride and familiarity with the location but it provides that light and warmth she was looking for. We carried it through the shoot’s entirety, from headshots to a large group portrait to create cohesive and welcoming brand imagery.
