In our careers creating Milwaukee commercial photography, the impact and reach of the pictures has spanned a large range. In the past, we have seen everything from before and after weight loss photos to social media profile pics to corporate annual reports. To sum up, everything has had its purpose, large and small.
On the eve of President Biden’s inauguration, we received a very special request for our efforts. Milwaukee Downtown reached out to us on behalf of the Inaugural Committee to enlist our help with a secret project. We learned that lights would be illuminated all over our city and others across the nation honoring the over 400,000 who have passed because of COVID-19. These images would be used in the Inauguration broadcast to signify national unity in the face of this unprecedented challenge.
It was with a sense of purpose and duty that we dragged the tripod through the snow and flew the drone over the Hoan. And it was incredibly moving to see our work included in such a solemn national moment.
